connection through Lord's tests in
'45.

Idiosyncrasies road trip SD-SF and back again...

This Thursday July 29th in Laguna

Patrick Trefz new flick 'Idiosyncrasies" at the Laguna
Theater this Thursday. Plus a show of his photos
and maybe some Hydro boards at the Surf Gallery
down the street. Worth it just to see Beamish stroke
into a Mav's bomb on his Pat Curren/Simmons
dual keel gun.

The Simmons Effect at Surfing Heritage Foundation last nite

Rode up to San Clemente with Elwell & Siegfried
and we gave a little presentation and showed a
little movie. Planing totems etc. Ruth, Bob's sister,
was there, and Rick, his nephew. Also Beamish, Burch,
the Dirkses, Tyler, Terry Martin, RT...great to see the old
boards especially the short slot.
Bob Simmons...the Godfather of the Mini-Simmons.
