YESSS! its really surprising how thrown off people are by this design. obviously it works, really well. Congrats to Mr. Thompson being discussed by mr. slater along with mr. greenough....thats good company right there.
What a relief to hear that from someone like Kelly Slater!
Been wodering how long it would take slater to get on one, I assume guys like him or dane reynolds have surfboard endorsement contracts to deal with, but I bet we see slater on one soon. The door just opened.
This is about time. Not to put too fine a point on it but the said gentelman is kinda responsible for the "6.2x18x2" hyper rocker performance board trend any way. Glad to see that he is becoming such an ambassador for change over the last few years.
Glad to see the man responsible for our present design departure getting back to reality.
Hard to knock things that make sense. And he should know better than most.I think you will find Kelly rides a lot of different things when not in the spot light.
Good on Tomo!I wonder when the burton islands copy is coming out?
surfing thrives by thinking out of the box, and its only a good thing to see it continuing on that path after some dead end detours led by the media and marketers in the pro era. Thanks for the lighting the candle DT, RK and crew.
